If Obama wins how will his leadership affect the military?

Lets face it he’s not a real big military guy.

We will do our jobs, and probably get some budget cuts.

But we get that every 8 years or so

The military has taken a major beating from the past two Democrat presidents. (Carter and Clinton). Obama will be no different.

Old planes will keep getting older, procurement of new planes will be held up.

We will cut and run once again. Not so good for morale of the troops to tuck tail and run.

I don’t know. I haven’t seen him exercise any leadership in the Senate as yet. Of course, he does have to get by the general election where the people vote their preference for electors and the Electoral College vote on December 14th.
Should he prevail, he may well run into the same sort of road blocks as the man who some in the media compare him to: John Fitzgerald Kennedy. On the day Kennedy died he left behind over 50 legislative proposals that he couldn’t get through a Congress dominated by his own party. So, it will interesting to say the least.
